Scientific Background

  • 02/2016 – present: Master student at the Bioquant/DKFZ German Cancer Research Center, internship for Master thesis in the research group "Genome Organization & Function" of PD Dr. Karsten Rippe. The project involves sequencing data analysis and modeling with mathematical and computational methods such as Statistics, Graph Theory and Machine Learning.
  • 09/2014 – present: Master of Science in Applied Physics - University of Bologna
  • 09/2011 – 09/2014: Bachelor of Science in Physics - University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, thesis in Soft Matter Physics at the “NanoBioLab” of the „CNR - Italian National Research Council“, with Prof. Dr. Andrea Alessandrini
